Overview
Capilano Volkswagen is seeking reliable and hard-working Lot Attendant to join our award-winning team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the lot is organized and welcoming for customers while assisting the Lot Manager in various administrative duties that will support the Sales and Service departments. Your ability to be reliable, punctual, and follow through on executing your daily responsibilities will be critical to future advancement and success in our family-owned car dealership whic hhas successfully served the North Shore community since 1969.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including parking areas and vehicle displays.
Ensure cleanliness of the dealership showroom at all times.
Assist in washing vehicles (even in cold weather) and perform basic detailing of vehicles to ensure proper presentation at the time of delivery or at time of sales demonstration.
Assist customers with locating vehicles and parking their vehicles upon arrival or after their vehicle is finished service.
Ensure that all vehicles are properly parked and secured.
Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good condition and ready for customer viewing.
Ensuring that demo vehicles have sufficient gas, and that sold vehicles are fueled or charged to full capacity prior to delivery.
Transporting vehicles to-and-from local repair shops, body shops back to the dealership.
Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

A Class 5 Driver's License and clean driver's abstract from ICBC is required
Familiarity with dealership operations is an asset
Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Farsi is an asset but not required
Must be able-bodied and able to perform some physical tasks, such as lifting tires, installing vehicle accessories, and able to carry boxes up to 50lbs

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
